Hab in Backups die alte Website gefunden. Geiler Einleitungstext anno 2004 ca:

basic melange, im Januar 1994 in den anfängen der troisdorfer hardcore und metal szene gegründet, spielt(e), beeinflusst von bands wie pantera, biohazard und faith no more eine mischung aus hardcore und metal mit einflüssen von hiphop und punk. nach einigem presserummel, zahlreichen, überaus erfolgreichen konzerten und der trennung von gründungsmitglied phillip spoth, wurde es etwas ruhiger um die vier übrigen bandmitglieder. jedoch machten sie in letzter zeit als: "die band, die es schafft fast drei jahre nicht zu proben ohne sich aufzulösen." wieder schlagzeilen.
